Thrifted vintage necklace

So yesterday I decided to do a car boot sale to try and get a bit of money for my old belongings and things I don't use and whilst I was there I had to look around. Whilst wandering around I spotted this vintage necklace that I think is so cute! I can imagine it with a LBD for a classy look or styled with a collared shirt, with a jumper and skater skirt for an almost 'vintage' look!

I'm so excited to style this piece!

TUXEDO NAILS

Tuxedo inspired nail art, originally worn by Zooey Deschanel
What I used:
Barry M nail paint in Matt White
La Colors nail striper in black
Barry M nail pain in Black

Technique:
- Firstly paint two coats of Matt white nail varnish by Barry M or any other white nail polish for an even white base
- Secondly take your black striper and draw two lines in the shape of a V
- Fill in the area underneath these lines with Black nail polish, I used Barry M nail paint in black but any will do, use a cocktail stick to help you if needed
- Using a cocktail stick dab two dots for buttons and a bow tie
- Apply a top coat to seal your design in!
- And you're done!

HAIR CHALKING

I'd been thinking of trying hair chalking for a while but was worried I would damage my hair doing it, however after doing it, it washes out and my hair was in exactly the same condition as before, so I'll definitely be doing it again! Basically hair chalking is exactly what it sounds like, depending on the colour of your hair, will depend on how bright it shows up but luckily being blonde it shows up quite easy. However it is quite time consuming, the first thing i did was style my hair as normal then hair spray the ends, the next thing I did was took the desired colour of chalk, in this case green and started colouring in my hair, which takes a while to build up the colour but keep going! The more you colour the brighter the colour becomes! I then moved onto blue chalk and mixed it with the green so it became almost like a gradient effect which I then repeated with pink. I highly recommend it for people that don't want to permanently die their hair but want to try something different for a night! xoxo

One of my best friends Amy- looking beautiful as always! + Me with my hair chalked (not the greatest quality)

ROUND SUNGLASSES

Omg I am in love with these sunglasses and they were an amazing price so I had to share them with you guys! Primarks best, I think they were like £1.50 or something ridiculous like that, such a bargain and so on trend right now! Much love jenni xoxo

Review: BarryM Magnetic Nail Paint

When I heard about the new magnetic nail polishes I knew I had to try them out! So I decided to get the Magnetic nail paint by Barry M in 'Magnetic Burgandy'. I was dying to try it out so tried it out straight away and had disappointing results when it didn't work no matter what I tried. Finally I worked out how to use it when I applied a think coat which I then immediately placed the magnet over for about 20 seconds (more than what it said on the bottle), the bottle also said to put a coat first but after experimenting with it I've noticed it's much more effective with just the one coat! Overall I like this product but I recommend not use it if you don't have much patience as it takes time and practice to get the technique right!

NEW SHOES! :CREEPERS

Okay, so I had thought about getting creepers for a while & kept putting it off, mainly cos I had no idea what to wear them with. But anyway I eventually decided to just go ahead and get them & I can honestly say I'm so glad I did! I love them, they go with so many things when you actually start experimenting on what to wear with them and they make a real statement!

Review: Maybelline Super Stay 10 Hour Tint Gloss

Okay, so me being me & being obsessed with lip colours! I have recently bought two of the new tint glosses from Maybelline! I was attracted to them in the shop because of their beautiful colours & how pigmented they were. There's five colours in the range to choose from.. Forever fuchsia, Timeless plum, Lasting pink, Endless ruby & Forever Coral. Although all of them are beautiful shades I decided to purchase Timeless plum and Forever fuchsia because of how vibrant the colour was, not to mention how fruity and yummy they smelt!

Timeless Plum

Timeless plum swatched (Not great quality, much brighter in person)

Forever Fuchsia

Overall I think the Maybelline Tint glosses have beautiful colour pay off on the lips and colour stay's on really well, so you don't need to keep reapplying it! It also smells gorgeous! The only slight complaint I have about this product is it dried my lips out a little but if you applied a balm first it should reduce it from drying out your lips :)#
Much love! Jenni xoxo
